davidraksin
Has TCM any access and desire to show comedy series like the Bowery Boys?
bansi4
It certainly would be a refreshing change of pace and at the same time give The Hardy Family and Nancy Drew a rest. However I'm not certain what access TCM has to Monogram Pictures which produced the Bowery Boys films. I too would like to see the silly antics of Muggs Mahoney hanging out with Sach and the gang at Louie's Sweet Shop once again.
coffeedan1927
In the summer of 2000, TCM showed all of the Bowery Boys movies in a mammoth marathon they called "The Bowery Boys of Summer." It was one wild ride! Their films still turn up every now and then on the TCM schedule, so keep your eyes peeled. But if you'd like to see them in their earlier incarnation as the Dead End Kids, TCM will be showing the original DEAD END, ANGELS WITH DIRTY FACES and all of the Dead End Kids movies that followed on January 22.
