FredCDobbs
Toward the end of the film, the Sheriff goes into a motel room in which multiple murders had taken place, and we see what seems to be a scene of the killer, Anton Chigurh, hiding out inside the room. We see a shot of him lurking in the shadows behind what seems to be the motel room door, as the Sheriff enters. Once inside, the Sheriff looks all around the room and in the bathroom and there is no one there. So where is Chigurh hiding out? Is he under the bed? roverrocks
They are in two different motel rooms. Chigurh kills his 3 in a room where the beds are on the right as he enters. When the sheriff goes in a room he goes in a room where the beds are on the left as he enters. I assume they are in the two different but side by side rooms that are taped off by crime scene tape. The sheriff only goes in one of the rooms while Chigurh is in the other but that is the thing with this hypnotically evil but great movie: one is never sure of anything but that the truly souless evil murderous character of Chigurh kills often and with zero remorse. Machine like. Probably the scenes are in two totally different time periods made to look like the exact same time at night. The genius of the Coens. FredCDobbs
Hey, thank you for that information. This movie makes me not want to stay in that kind of motel.
