Swithin
It's on tonight at 8pm EST on BBC America. Of course, awards will have already been announced earlier today, since the live presentation takes place beginning at 9m London time (which is 4pm EST). jakeem
Thanks for the reminder! The BAFTA Awards recently have become a good indicator of who might win certain Oscars. It proved true for Marion Cotillard when she won the 2007 Best Actress BAFTA for "La Vie en Rose" and for Meryl Streep when she won the 2011 award for "The Iron Lady." The good news this year is that the BAFTAs won't compete with the Grammy Awards, which were held on January 26th. It was hell watching the Grammys live until 11 p.m. or 11:30 p.m. EST, and then switching over to BBC America for a second showing of the tape-delayed BAFTAs. Swithin
Tonight will be a real test for Anglophiles, since part of the BAFTA broadcast will be up against Downton Abbey ! Although DA is repeated during the week, who can wait to find out what's happening?

twister
Helen Mirrin must have loved when Prince William said he should call her "granny".
