Svander007
Okay so it has been a couple years since I watched this movie on TCM. I want to say I saw it back in 2011 but could of been earlier. Here is what i remember about the movie: it was black and white and about a guy who writes symphony music. Towards the end of the movie i think there was a fire or some type of commotion. Im not sure if the protagonist was a bad guy or was crazy or a murderer i just can't remember!!! I really can't remember much about the movie other then It had wonderful acting and cinematography. I also remember after the film or i may have looked it up but the main actor was a bigger physically gentle men and tall. He died of heart complications possibly a heart attack or heart failure because he had lost a significant amount of weight in a shorter period of time i want to say like 100lbs. But non the less the actor died before his time and I'm not sure if that helps.
JamesJazGuitar
The movie is Hangover Square made in 1945 with Laird Cregar. He died shortly after the film was released because he lost too much weight since he wanted romantic leads. The movie also started the lovely Linda Darnell.
