bhryun
Somewhere in the Billy Wilder film "One, Two, Three" James Cagney has a speech about what's right with America. It sort of sounded like, "No country that can produce the XXX, the ???, and the Hula Hoop can be all bad." Could somebody give me the exact quotation? Thanks. silentfan66
It's not exactly about America but here's the quote - "Any world that can produce the Taj Mahal, William Shakespeare, and striped toothpaste can't be all bad."
bhryun
Marvelous. Thanks a lot. (I remembered something like that because I had just read a short article of the "Is this a great country, or what?" type that had a list of great developments and ended the list with Google. Give me a break). Larry ****
ayresorchids
Reminds me of the song, "Thank You, Columbus," by EY Harburg and Burton Lane. I wish I could remember the lyrics...
