How about that TCM short with Joan Collins talking about how  sweet, cute, innocent, little June Allyson almost kayoed Joan when they were doing that scene. June was supposed to just slap her, not knock her into next month :D .

That is one of my favorite Word of Mouth segments. I love how they repeat the scene in slow-motion and you can actually see Joan's earrings flying off into outer space.  What a slap!

I believe that I am going to force myself to watch " MY MAN GODFREY" tomorrow night.  I do like most of the cast in this remake but for me this can never hold a candle to the original Powell / Lombard film. The original is one of my TWO favorite films of all time (you can guess what the other favorite is)    ;)
