Bensinger in "His Girl Friday" (1940). David Wayne was Bensinger in "The Front Page" (1974).
starliteyes
That is exactly right, film lover, and you have the floor - or, as we say here, the thread. (Can't help wondering why Bensinger's middle initial was changed from V in the 1931 film to B in the 1940 one.)

Greenstreet is right in both cases but I was thinking of Three Strangers that also had a statue in it. Note I had the title in the question. But you are right! The answer to your question is Walter Brennan (I didn't even have to look it up, wow!) Terrence1
Thanks, Laffite. This actress began her career as a singer on local television. when she turned to acting, she had very little opportunity to display her singing talent. But she did make a number of movies, including two Westerns with John Wayne and even got to sing a little in an Elvis Presley movie. Can you name her?

Princess of Tap
Easy questions that you don't have to look up or even scratch your head. Three actresses who co-starred with Clark Gable at least three times-- And don't forget to name three Gable movies for each actress. Big hint-- They all had MGM contracts.
