10) Anthony Quinn played Stanley (with Uta Hagen as Blanche) in A Streetcar Named Desire on Broadway, during the vacations of Marlon Brando and Jessica Tandy. Quinn and Hagen then took the play on the national tour.  Many critics compared the Quinn/Hagen performance favorably with the Brando/Tandy performance, some even preferring it.
