He wrote The Ragman's Son (read it).

He cheated on the eye chart (prereq for enlistment) just like my Dad

His production company was named Bryna

His first wife was English (Diana D.)

He was a great supporter of Israel

In one of the books he wrote after his helicopter crash (not sure about whether he had his stroke or not), he and his wife didn't know how to pump gas for the car.

He claimed to have a relationship with Pier Angelli (sp?)

Lonely Are the Brave is his favorite film

He and Lancaster did a funny Oscar number before Lancaster won for Elmer Gantry

Kirk Douglas is a stage name - Issur Danielovich

Lived to be past 100

Never claimed to be a saint when it came to womanizing and, surprisingly, his new wife, Ann, his ex-wife, Diana, and Diana's husband had an "amicable" relationship

Joel and Michael are sons by Diana and Eric and Peter(?) are/were his sons by Ann

Watching Kirk in the scene where Van Gogh cuts off his ear traumatized Michael
