EdgeCliffe
Sepia Records has recently released the soundtracks to the 3 Fred Astaire specials from 1958-1960. These are quite wonderful but we need to see the innovative musical numbers on the screen. The three shows still exist on video and I think they were re-telecast years ago on the Disney Channel. I somehow have a feeling that Astaire's widow is behind the shows not being shown anymore or for that fact released on an official DVD. I know these shows would sell quite well if released on DVD. In the meantime all we have if the CD which is unfortunate.
DougieB
And hopefully TCM would be first in line to broadcast them. Back in the early 90's, a friend who subscribed to Disney taped them for me on VHS. He was smart to do them with a partner and Barrie Chase was more than up to the task.
