bhryun
I saw a Betty Hutton short on TCM July 4, 2005. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the name of the comic dancer who appeared in the short. He was trying to get in the show, told a bad joke, and then did a silly dance. Also, does anyone know how to get a copy of a short like this? TCM does not seem to schedule these in advance, so I can't get the video player ready.
classicsfan1119
Harriet, at IMDb, the cast listing for this 1939 Short only identifies "Beaus & Belles" as playing "themselves", so I'm guessing that the dancer you're looking for was one of them. It's virtually impossible to find a copy of these Shorts to purchase, and TCM has and aires to many of them during the day between movies that it's impossible for them to list them in various TV Guides used by cable and satellite viewers. Thus, for all of us, it's a hit and miss proposition getting our favorites taped...but, it's only on TCM that you'll even get to see them, so enjoy! :)ML
