In "History Of The World - Part 1). there's a human chess game.  Of course that movie is also an example of L-Shaped chess moves from the Movie Titles AKA thread, and a character talking to the movie audience from the Films And Filmmakers forum.  Witty, sophisticated drawing room comedy this ain't.

THE KILLING - scene with Sterling Hayden, he opens the door to The Chess and Checkers Club, men are playing Chess- such a good noir - btw KID- written on the outside window is CHESS and CHECKERS CLUB- 15cents :D
