"Tomorrow The World" has such a happy ending - a happy ending that doesn't fit.

I wonder if the play ended that way or was different? Agree, the ending was gag inducing.

Just an observation. Tracy's birthday is tomorrow. So he plays today. Nothing for Doris, but we did get Debbie Reynolds on her birthday. Perhaps TCM feels Doris gets enough movie time already. Just my opinion here, but playing two movies back to back is an adequate celebration. Guess who is not fond of Summer Under The Stars?

As always TopBilled, thanks for doing these movie lists. Some may take you for granted and we shouldn't.

I have a feeling they'll make Doris Day the Star of the Month again, in three years for her 100th birthday. So if they skip over her 97th and do something big for her at 100, then all will be forgiven. Yes?

Providing Doris makes it that far........

They would still do a 100th birthday celebration for her. If she passes away first, there will be a 24-hour memorial tribute. Then the 100th birthday tribute as Star of the Month.

I have a feeling she will still be around then.

THE NIGHT OF THE HUNTER with Shelley Winters

This one never loses any of it's creepiness, no matter how many viewings later. 😨

It's all those spooky atmospheric touches. I don't like the sappy ending, but the first 80% of the movie is brilliant.
