Is this photo from I LOVE MELVIN? I wish TCM would show it more often. These two were delightful together. I was fortunate enough to see one of their shows together in the 1990s and it was evident that they were truly good friends.

Is it from I LOVE MELVIN? I did a Google images search on their names plus SINGIN' IN THE RAIN. But it's possible the photo was misnamed on Google.

Another good Donald O'Connor film is SOMETHING IN THE WIND, where he is paired with Deanna Durbin. It's never aired on TCM.

I would love to see this one; I love both of them!

(Here's the synopsis: Two arrangers try to help a jazz star who can't read music compose a film score.)

If Felix Bressart is in it, I'm watching!  :)

Natalie on TCM

SPLENDOR IN THE GRASS with Warren Beatty

THE SEARCHERS with John Wayne

GYPSY with Rosalind Russell

REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE with James Dean

You may know this but hour DEANIE in SPLENDOR... was her own favorite role & was robbed of the Academy Award for it
