Yeah. The schedule is very good. TCM put up some money to rent two Paramount films and a 20th Century Fox film.

It's Wilder's birthday tomorrow. He was born on June 22, 1906.

My virtual YouTube DVR is going to be busy tomorrow.  I lost most of these when I dropped FiOS TV a few months back and had to return my cable box.

Yes! I have such a difficult time understanding them (in this film.)

I watch a few British soaps on Britbox each day. And one of the shows--Emmerdale-- employs a lot of actors from different regions, plus there is a leading lady (Natalie J. Robb, below) who is originally from Scotland so her pronunciation of certain words is even more different. I use the closed captioning option when I watch to make sure I get it all. And the dialogue writers give them slang or expressions that Americans don't use. So then I can write down these phrases and look them up on the internet.

I have never seen IN THIS OUR LIFE from start to finish, so I'm looking forward to this afternoon!

John Huston directed it. It's an interesting film. Charles Coburn has a role as a villainous (lecherous) uncle.

And Billie Burke does a serious dramatic role for a change.
