newclassicfilmfan1
Does TCM ever play Blackboard Jungle anymore? Any thoughts of the film?
LuckyDan
i love that one. vic morrow is the perfect delinquent and glenn ford as the exasperated teacher (fortuitously named "dadier") demanding names is great fun.
sewhite2000
Can't remember it being on recently, but it's an MGM film, and a famous one at that, so you're likely to find it in prime time at least a couple of times a year and other times of the day multiple times. Do a database search for it on the Website, and it should tell you when the network is airing it next.
cmovieviewer
Looks like it's currently scheduled for Sunday, July 27 at 2 pm Eastern time. Hope it doesn't get pre-empted! As I recall, the last time TCM showed this it was part of a Sidney Poitier retrospective, one of his earlier films.
DownGoesFrazier
Does TCM ever play Blackboard Jungle anymore? Any thoughts of the film? I've never seen BACKBOARD JUNGLE on TCM. It's a film about the fights that ensue when more than one group is trying to use a basketball court at the same time....Oh, sorry, you said BLACKBOARD JUNGLE. Never mind.
