clore
Nice to see him be so honored, and that we're getting something other than Boston **** movies. Not that I dislike them, but they've been run a bit over the last few years. speedracer5
I don't have much of an opinion on Chester Morris; however, I did enjoy him in "Five Came Back." I wish they were playing that one again. Plus, I'm a big fan of Lucille Ball and she was excellent in that film. However, I see that "The Marines Fly High" is scheduled and it is a Lucille Ball film that I haven't seen. I may have to record it to see how Chester and she fare in that film.

primosprimos
Thank you for the heads up, clore. Morris is one of my favorites. More's the pity, Pat O'Brien is smelling up the first Chester Morris film. Hate Pat O'Brien. No biggie - next one has Richard Dix and Chester Morris.

primosprimos
Thanks, Fred, they sure made them good looking way back when. The last entry was dated, Chester in makeup and all, but the very end was interesting - one of the first music videos, it appears. A compilation of some scenes from the movie, set to an equally dated "You Learn About Love Every Day".
Janet0312
I didn't know it was Chester Morris Day. I was out and about and tuned into Secret Command just in time to see Chet lying in a hospital bed smoking a cigarette. Boy, those were the days.

You just can't get good cigarettes and whiskey in hospitals anymore!
