Just wanted to begin a thread to honor Vic Morrow who we lost 32 years ago on July 23rd. He was terrific in the tv show Combat and in the movie Blackboard Jungle and in quite a few other films and tv guest appearances. He was a great actor, very underappreciated. I don't think he ever gave a bad performance. RIP to a fine actor.

I've been thinking a lot about him too and how much of a tragedy we lost him so early. He really was a very good actor that didn't get enough credit. He always played a great bad guy (almost stole 'Roots' with his performance as the slave master, Ames IMO). Hard to believe 'Blackboard Jungle' was his first role. He is missed...

Morrow was excellent (as always) in the made-for-TV movie, THE GLASS HOUSE, as a prisoner who ran things behind the walls.
