bhryun
Every single movie I have seen on TCM has as bit of a skip at the end. At first I thought it was just a bad copy of the movie I was watching, but every single movie I watch on TCM glitches near the end, (the kind of glitch which is a pause and slight skip of the movie). I should think Turner Classic Movies would have fixed this by now, but I still see it! Bad quality, wish there was another channel that showed classics, like how AMC used to. Anyone know who I could contact about this problem that needs to be fixed? I doubt it is my cable company because it happens near the end of movies and not inbetween. kak122760
I've never had this happen with any movie I've seen. You may want to list some movies you've seen recently, and then others who have seen that movie can let you know if they had the same problem. If not, it may be your cable company. bhryun
Ok, there have been a lot. The last movie I watched on TCM was BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S. And like the others, it looked like some digital glitch toward the end of the movie in which it looked like for about five seconds there was a pause, part of the screen had i digital marks on it( hard to describe-what it looks like when you get to the part of the DVD where there is a scratch on it)and a few moments of the movie was skipped. I've never seen this on any other channel, just this one, which makes me believe there is a problem with TCM.
vallo13
I've had that problem sometimes during movies. They seem to jump frame to frame. I thought it was my satellite. But during the summer months cable services sometime mention "sun spots" on some reception. Hopefully it clears up, in the fall I watch alot more movies. vallo
nsallieharding
Vallo, your right about sun spots, and the sun in general. I notice with Directv that the movies I watch during the night have better reception than when the signal has to compete with the sun. I would be interested if others experience the same effect, but to me the image is a little more pixilated during the day, especially in the summer months.
