Kid Dabb
I don't suppose there are many who remember the days where what today is a relatively simple thing you may go to the ER for was an hour-to-hour life threatening situation like the pneumonia segment at the end of Made for Each Other (1939). As I was growing up, the ER wasn't there for these purposes. I had to take an ambulance trip and be admitted to the hospital for treatment - for each of my childhood diseases. This film brought back some of those memories, along with the happy endings.
HelenBaby2
While that scene was going on, I thought of a similar scene in Mildred Pierce but it didn't end so well. I hope you're happy and healthy now.

I hope you're happy and healthy now. I am very happy and healthier than the a-ver-age bear of middle age (very healthy as relates to all my childhood diseases). Thank you.
