TopBilled
an unofficial Doris Roberts week Something Wild (1961) an otherwise weird movie with a young Doris Roberts and Jean Stapleton who were both around the same age and Dear Heart (1964) love this one She has interesting minor roles in other films that pop up on TCM-- notably, A NEW LEAF (she's very good in that one) and in NO WAY TO TREAT A LADY. I think she would make a great Guest Programmer. Think of the stories she could tell, and I am sure her choices would be very good. And she and Robert Osborne would have a fun time.
Terrence1
She also had a small role in "A New Leaf".

mistervegan
stapleton played a rather raunchy character in that flick. a far cry from the edith bunker she would become. darkblue
Roberts is also in 'The Honeymoon Killers' (1969) which has been shown on TCM as well. Man, that is one ugly movie.
