Hedda_Hopper
Hi, There's a Classic Pre Code Movie Promo that was used to advertise September's Friday night spotlight and I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the movie Ann Dvorak is featured? She's telling a story to a group of other women in the clip, shown here. Thanks for your help!

JamesJazGuitar
Just watched it--I love that scene! Baldwin made a good point about the ending with no scene between the cops and the hoods. Just another example of a very good movie but with a cheap ending. Baldwin and RO even joked that cost was likely the reason they didn't shoot such a scene. If such a scene was done it might have prevented Bogart from leaving Hollywood and going back to NY to work in the theater. Bogie was great at doing those death scenes when he did return to WB in 1936 (typically killed by Cagney or E.G. Robinson). A great Bogart shoot out \ death scene in 3 on a Match might have changed his career. Of well, he ended up doing OK after all!
