TheGayDivorcee
Not the best time slot, 3:00 a.m. Pacific time, but I'm just thrilled it's on at all. It's the oldest surviving animated feature film, using a special silhouette technique. Just beautiful.
DougieB
I recorded it and finally watched it. Very special. The sihouette technique was often used for portraiture, but the idea of animating it was kind of brilliant. Simply changing the background color almost gave the impression of it being a color film. There was an interesting technique where the background began to swirl in a way which reminded me of the light shows in late-60's rock concerts. What a shame that the original elements don't still exist, but I have to say it looked pretty darn good regardless.
