DickLindsay
Hello again: Here are a few more photos from my collection. I know the second photo is Charles Boyer but don't know the woman with him. The others are silent movie stars; the paper snipes on the backs fell off before I got them... anyone know who they are? gagman66
The last one appears to be Evelyn Brent. You should post these all on Nitrateville. I thought I would know all or most of them, but it is hard to get a good look the way it is set up, since I can't save the images. Might be a Gwen Lee in there, but I 'm not sure? TheGayDivorcee
Lovely photos! I wish I could tell you who they are. The ensemble on the woman in the second from the right is really gorgeous.
whistlingypsy
Hello again: Here are a few more photos from my collection. The others are silent movie stars; the paper snipes on the backs fell off before I got them... anyone know who they are? Hello, I believe the woman in the first photo in silent film actress Madge Bellamy. I believe you can confirm this by matching the still numbers in the lower right corner. I wish I could be of more help, but I'm only guessing Joan Crawford in the woman on the right enjoying her watermelon with obvious gusto.

whistlingypsy
The photo of Charles Boyer with the blonde makes me think of Karen Morley or Viriginia Bruce . . . however, she could be a British actress. The woman in the fifth photo might be Olga Baclanova, who was known for her strategically placed mole.

That.. and the small-ish mouth, the smokey eyes and that trademark curl of hair on her forehead. Looks like Olga.
DickLindsay
Hello, well, after much research, I've learned the woman with Charles Boyer is Mona Goya; they appeared together in the 1930 film THE BIG HOUSE. You were right about Olga Baclanolva , and the film title is FOrgotten Faces. The two ladies eating watermelon (this is interesting) are Mildred Davis (aka Mrs. Harold Lloyd) and Marie Mosquini (silent star Snub Pollard's leading lady) but I've been unable to identify the film., the lady at the bottom of the staircase is Fify D'Orsay (who continued on into 'talkies', television, and Broadway). Interesting stuff... well, i Have more to share here. later. thanks!

Better say the French version, shot concurrently with the more familiar great with Chester Morris, Wallace Beery, and Robert Montgomery, written by Frances Marion, and brilliantly directed by George W. Hill.
