A woman alerted officials after spotting the big cat in a supermarket car park in Montevrain, east of the French capital, local media reported. Cedric Tartaud, director of the mayor's office, told the BBC: "We don't believe this tiger is totally dangerous because if it's a young tiger, maybe approximately 70kg… maybe it's afraid... maybe he can come from a circus in the cities around Montevrain. We don't know."
kingrat
The story can work in so many different genres: horror, suspense, screwball comedy. It's a remarkable story.

You remember the j-a-c-k-a-s-s who had a chimp as a pet and then was outraged when it bit off her face? Here's hoping this mysterious cat doesn't get murdered by the police or some foaming at the mouth vigilante. http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/nov/14/paris-tiger-big-cat-france-police-search People are morons. Google Mauritus the giraffe if you ever need proof of the stupidity of the human race, especially those in Denmark.
scsu1975
You remember the j-a-c-k-a-s-s who had a chimp as a pet and then was outraged when it bit off her face? In the interest of accuracy (since this occurred in my state), the victim was not the chimp's owner. The victim was a friend of the owner.

scsu1975
This seems like a great opportunity for TCM to show the little-seen, little-known, little-budget The Catman of Paris.
