texasmoviemaven
Hope you recall this movie. The main theme is about a married woman who goes on holiday or away for a weekend trip with her woman friend. They have a brief encounter with a sailor or other military man at a bar or nightclub. Later, the women are in a car and the man they meet is in another car. Not sure if he was following them to their hotel or another location. His auto goes off a cliff. The women assuming he is dead drive away without checking. They return to the married woman's home without saying anything to her husband. Seem to recall that the husband eventually gets the information out of his wife because she is very troubled from her feelings of guilt over having killed the sailor. Would love to have the name of the movie as well as the main characters. Thanks all! Texasmoviemaven
scsu1975
Welcome to the boards. Your description contains elements from the 1965 film Moment to Moment, with Jean Seberg, Arthur Hill (as her psychiatrist-husband), and Sean Garrison (as a naval officer). Seberg has a brief affair with Garrison and shoots him. Thinking he's dead, she and her friend (Honor Blackman) dump the body. Garrison turns up later, with amnesia, and, you guessed it, Hill takes him on as a patient. Nice Henry Mancini score, by the way.
