NipkowDisc
the science fiction films being greenlighted in hollywood these days are focusing more on idealism over action, story and adventure, opting for humanistic idealism over human drama, gravity and interstellar being the most recent examples. decades ago the humanistic idealism was secondary to story and drama. we need more Apollo 13s and less van gogh in outer space. FredCDobbs
Denzel Washington's Deja Vu (2006) was very good. Based on a time travel story. Somewhat complex, but very interesting.

"Interstellar" (2014) is based more on science than fiction. Has been given great revues, can't wait for it on Pay-per-view.
