johnnyweekes70
There are some answers to your question in the General Discussion forum. All I can add is that Myrna Loy played the mother of the Gilbreth family and Jeanne Crain played the eldest daughter who narrated the picture. I'm not sure who you're thinking of. classicmoviedear
The mother was played by Myrna Loy and the eldest daughter was played by Jeanne Crain. The second eldest daughter was played by contract player Barbara Bates. These three actresses also reprised their roles in the sequel to Cheaper by the Dozen, and it was called Belles on Their Toes.. Both were great movies! Tabitha
