Big_Bopper Posted January 5, 2015 Share Posted January 5, 2015 sony issued a new version shown on tcm. it differs greatly from the vhs tape. alot of names of people who helped restoring it are removed. replaced by a big sony. the movie was very soft on tcm whereas the vhs is sharp and distinct. without question the greatest columbia picture and one of the 10 best. naturally it was ruined by editing abuse. one of the odd changes between the two versions - in vhs the brits meet at St. Georges Club. sony substituted Embassy Club. buy the tape Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
