bhryun
Anyone have any clue as to what transfer TCM used for the dubbed version of "The Conformist" (Il Conformista) a while back? I was only half watching the movie cause it was dubbed, but it seems there's no other version out there right now. TCM's version seemed like it was DVD sharp yet there is no DVD, any clues? movieslover1000
It was probably the version that was sent to them. My guess would be from Paramount, the US distrubutor of the film. I could be wrong though.
bhryun
Perhaps you're right. I found out that there is an out of print Japanese DVD with Italian dialog. That's the only thing I could think of that would have a picture that good commercially. Hm, I dunno I just wish someone would get off their **** and release a DVD of it already >:|
