PrinceSaliano
Has TCM ever shown SHE (1935) or A GAME OF DEATH (1945)?
markfp2
Let us name films that once upon a time long years ago tcm aired but stopped airing and said films have not aired on tcm since... and why? Why? That's an easy one. TCM's contracts with the studios are not open ended. All have an end date at which time TCM either was not offered a renewal, chose not to renew, or in some case may have been outbid by another network. It was different when Ted Turner owned TCM and had a huge film library. Now Ted is long gone and so is the library so TCM has to lease everything it shows. Getting new titles often involves letting others go to free up money in the programming budget.
