jakeem
I never knew that McKuen wrote the lyrics to "Seasons in the Sun," which was a No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit for Terry Jacks in 1974.
Hibi
So sorry to hear this. I hadnt heard much about him in years. I remember even Sinatra recorded an LP of his songs when he was a popular songwriter back in the 60s/70s....

Vertigo2
I thought the music he wrote for the movie "Joanna" was memorble. The soundtrack was a favorite album of mine at the time.

wouldbestar
Around 1965 0r 66 Glenn Yarborough recorded an album of his works set to music. A friend lent it to me one afternoon and I listened to it while munching on a raw pineapple I'd cut into chunks. I loved the recordings and got my lips so puckered up from the fruit acid I was afraid they'd never go back to normal. Thanks, Rod, for a great afternoon and lasting memory; may you RIP.
