June Schedule is Up

It's back -- nice variety! Particularly looking forward to Henry Hathaway's Souls at Sea, a Paramount oldie with Gary Cooper and George Raft.

Souls at Sea is a decent adventure film. George Raft and Gary Cooper play well off one another, and the supporting cast includes Virginia Weidler and a young Robert Cummings.

However, Cooper, resentful at the manner in which the film was chopped through editing (and its box office disappointment), refused to re-new his Paramount contract as a result of this, and signed on with Samuel Goldwyn. I guess Cooper's angry with his old studio wasn't too great, though, since he agreed to be loaned back to them on two occasions during his Goldwyn contract period.

Not seeing anything but a blank schedule with days of the week either and I have tried a couple of browsers.  Possibly the link has become corrupted.  Can someone re-post?  Thanks.

Make sure you click on "US" along the schedule selectors at the top.

Clicking the U.S. made it go over to the current month schedule. This seems to happen to me and my browser almost every month. The schedule appears then disappears for a time.

Clicking the U.S. made it go over to the current month schedule. This seems to happen to me and my browser almost every month. The schedule appears then disappears for a time.

Oh. Yeah. I see that now. When I started reading it I noticed that it was awfully familiar and then looked up to see "March" at the top.

Thanks Andy for posting the first week in this thread. I wasn't able to get the first five days, so I appreciate that!

Barton did a nice job posting the Pin-Up movie selections over in the Star of the Month sub-forum.

Edgar Wright is the guest programmer. Some folks will probably say, who dat.

With the possible exception of Hangmen Also Die and The Mind of Mr. Soames (which we will probably not get in Canada) June's schedule seems like deja vu all over again.

Nicely laid out for new subscribers but leaves plenty of time to go out of town on vacation for those that have been around for more than six months.

It looks as if the SOTM is "Pin-Up Girls" in an infinite number of variations, at least that's what every Wednesday seems to feature.

Hmmmm..."Pin-Up Girls on Wednesday nights" that month ya say, eh Andy?!

Then I wonder if they'll begin each of those nights by opening with a rousing chorus of...yeah, you guessed it...

"June Is Busting Out All Over" ???

I believe that June's schedule is perfectly wonderful!

I find tribute to Frank Morgan on first to be quite interesting. I have not watched many of those movies in many years. He is particularly befuddled in: Piccadilly Jim (1936).

I am very happy to see: The Enemy Below (1957) on the schedule. I feel that this movie shows quite proper attitude of men in war.

Merle Oberon tribute on third has many wonderful movies.

I love very much Bulldog Drummond series is to air! I believe that I have not had opportunity to watch some of these.

I believe that: Sanjuro (1962) is one of Toshiro Mifune's best movies.

The Double Man (1967) is excellent!

I love: Heaven Can Wait (1943)!

The Fly (1958) is such good fun!

The Face Behind the Mask (1941) is quite moving.

John Barrymore in: Sherlock Holmes (1922) is rare treat.

I must wonder how long it has been since airing of: The Last of Sheila (1973).

The Twonky (1953) is quite good fun.

Band of Outsiders (1964) has not aired for very long time.

Gildersleeve movies are great treat.

Just out of curiosity, am I the only one to have this issue? I cannot get the June schedule if I use either IE or Firefox. I do, however, get it with Google Chrome.

Assuming others have it the same way, any idea why one out of three browsers work in this regard?
