TopBilled Posted March 14, 2015 Share Posted March 14, 2015 I found it interesting how in the opening credits, it says 'introducing Ursula Thiess' courtesy of RKO. Never seen that before-- where a contract player's debut film is a loan out. I think it is another example Hughes did not know how to run RKO. If he had just signed her for his studio, then he should have been building a series of films around her-- not sending her off to work for an independent company releasing thru United Artists. She certainly didn't make many films-- probably because Hughes did not know how to promote her properly-- and she found things better to her advantage as the new Mrs. Robert Taylor.
