Princess of Tap
8) I can't remember the name but it's Kukla Fran and Ollie. I recognize the rest, but I'm not going to look them up-- I' m just using my memory - - I'll let somebody else have some fun exercising their memory. MilesArcher
Princess, Thanks for answering. You memory is a bit FOGGy. No. 1 is Phineas T. Bluster from Howdy Doody. No. 2 is not Knucklehead Smith. This photo below is Knucklehead Smiff: He is not among the photos I posted. No. 7 is indeed Lambchop. No. 8 is either Kukla, Fran, or Ollie. Which is it? I'm so sorry--number 2 is Mortimer Snerd. Anyway my memory is good but at the time when I watched this stuff I couldn't read or write. So I had to rely on what I heard and maybe my hearing was not so good. Anyway I'm sure some older kids could read the credits or can read Google and they can do the rest. MilesArcher
Some of you have trouble recognizing people who change their appearance over the years. Let's see if you can name these puppets, who never change much. There's no connection, other than the fact that some of them were on a show together. 1. Phineas T. Bluster 2. Mortimer Snerd 3. Charley Horse 4. Farfel 5. Kukla 6. Dilly Dally 7. Lambchop 8. Ollie 9. Danny O'Day 10. H.R. Pufnstuf No. 9 is actually Danny O'Day. Danny and Jerry Mahoney looked remarkably alike. We have them all now. Thanks to Princess, Lawrence and Lavender. Since Princess and Lavender don't post photos, we'll ask Lawrence to go next. Princess of Tap
3) Tap Dancer Hal Le Roy known as Harold Teen The only time I've ever seen him was in a short ( 1937) Swing for Sale, which co-starred June Allyson-- and they both were good. MilesArcher
All correct so far. The photo of no. 5 may be a bit unfair because you are used to seeing him as a younger man. He became a director after his performing days were over. Here is another picture of him, this time with Bob Fosse on the left and Debbie Reynolds. Do you know him now? MilesArcher
Yes, It's Gower Champion. It's kind of difficult to find good photos of him without Marge. That's one for Lavender, one for Princess, one for Shutoo, and two for Rich. Rich (scsu1975) gets the thread.

MilesArcher
He was from Canada. His picture is on the cover of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper album, very close to George Harrison. No, his name is not Peter Blake.
