lavenderblue19
It's been a week and nobody has ventured a guess. It's Jimmy Lydon and Jane Withers from a 1942 movie called "The Mad Martindales". He played Henry Aldrich in a series of movies in the forties. She had been a child actress and she would later be known as Josephine the plumber in a series of commercials for Comet cleanser. They are both over ninety and still with us. Now, who is this young actress Peggy Ryan? Miles, I didn't see your post of Jimmy and Jane. It was probably the easiest photo to recognize that's ever been posted in this thread. I'll give everyone else the benefit of the doubt that it wasn't seen, because if no one recognized those 2 oh brother, trivia on these bds. is in trouble..... MilesArcher
Yes, it's Peggy Ryan. She was cast in many "teenage" musicals with Donald O'Connor at Universal in the forties. She later had a role on the TV series "Hawaii Five-O". Now, who is this actress? She specialized in comedy and she was in quite a few movies in the forties. You may remember her as looking a bit older in a very popular TV series, although she looked a bit different from this next photo: Who is she? MilesArcher
I guess that wasn't too difficult. I originally was going to post photos of Peggy and Irene Ryan together, but I decided to stretch it out to two postings. Here's Irene as we all remember her: Lawrence, you get to post the next one. MilesArcher
I believe that it's Don Collier. He was indeed in many westerns. He was one of the stars of "The High Chaparral" TV series in the late sixties.

Princess of Tap
It's been said that she did the roles on stage, Bette Davis did them on film. Miles, I just presented a question about Bankhead that was in general trivia. And I mentioned how Davis took notes of her stage performances. So this is a continuation and that's Tallulah Bankhead. MilesArcher
What a strange coincidence, Princess. It is indeed Talullah Bankhead. I posted the photos on Friday. Now, can you identify these actors? Do you know what movie it's from?
