3)

That just leaves three:

#2 is more recent, but still going back 40-50 years to the height of his fame.

#3 had a memorable scene in one of the biggest films of the 1940s.

#6 was recently discussed in the "I Just Watched" thread.

Thanks, Rich.  I checked Tim Holt's filmography and found that he appeared in one movie as a child with his dad, Jack Holt.

Now, here are some actresses who were often the leading ladies or the "other" women in films of the thirties, forties, and fifties.  They didn't quite reach the level of top stars like Davis, Crawford, Stanwyck, or Garbo, but most of them had memorable careers.  How many can you name?

This is unusual, but I'm getting all of my information from Classic TV and not Classic Movies. Sometimes you just have to go back to your roots to get answers. LOL

2) The Executive Producer of Perry Mason-- Gail Patrick (Jackson)

5) The sister of the most successful movie star in Classic TV-- Sally Blane

( Loretta Young's sister)

9) The star of My Friend Flicka - - Anita Louise

We still need nos 3, 6, and 10.  The others are all correct.  Thanks Princess and Lavender.

No. 3 was discovered by William Demarest while she was working at a soda fountain.

No. 6 was once married to a western star.

No. 10 was born in England, but most of her work was in Hollywood.  She was known for a series of detective movies.  In her later years, she had a recurring role on a TV sitcom.

Yes.  Wanda Hendrix was married to Audie Murphy for a short time.  Heather Angel was in many of the "Bulldog Drummond" movies in the thirties, as well as the 1936 version of "The Last Of The Mohicans".  She had a recurring role as English nanny Miss Faversham on the sixties TV series "Family Affair".  She would meet Mr. French and the children in the park.

Thank you Princess, Lavender, and Shutoo.

Shutoo, would you like to post the next one?
