Now, here are some actresses who were often the leading ladies or the "other" women in films of the thirties, forties, and fifties. Thanks Princess and Lavender. No. 3 was discovered by William Demarest while she was working at a soda fountain. No. 6 was once married to a western star. No. 10 was born in England, but most of her work was in Hollywood. She was known for a series of detective movies. In her later years, she had a recurring role on a TV sitcom. Heather Angel was in many of the "Bulldog Drummond" movies in the thirties, as well as the 1936 version of "The Last Of The Mohicans".
