All about the "BASS"

Bass FIDDLE, that is!

Or, if you wish, any other musical "tricks" used by either a director or just the score composer in certain movies.

MINE is about "THE WRONG MAN"

Ever notice, in certain scenes in which Manny,(played by Henry Fonda) who is supposed to be a bass fiddle player in the house band of the Stork Club, is shown walking around or whatever, the background music has, what the guy who played Tom Cruise's dad in "Risky Business" describes as "a preponderance of BASS!" ?

In other words, the "stand-up" bass played by the musician in the orchestra playing the background score is MORE PRONOUNCED than at other times in the movie.(pay attention next time it's on)

Notice this sort of stuff in other movies?

I know there has to be, but can't think of them now....
