Monkey0111
I think it was made in the 40s-50s. I don't remember the exact plot but, roughly: a married couple moves from Europe (Scotland?) to the USA, I think in the pioneer days. They are struggling to build a house but the people in the area help them and everything works out. They have a few kids and then a few years later (SPOILERS) the parents die (not at the same time) so the older kids decide to find homes for the younger ones. They take them from house to house via sled (I think this is during winter time) in the hopes that one of the families will take one or more of them in. That's all I remember. I don't remember how it ends or any other details. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

im4cinema2
In this movie the sexy blonde star is eating a drum stick/chicken leg. Who was she and what was the film. I think it was Judy Holiday in the Solid Gold Cadilac but I'm not sure.
