jakeem Posted May 5, 2015 Share Posted May 5, 2015 Author Michael Blake, whose 1988 novel "Dances with Wolves" was turned into an Oscar-winning motion picture two years later, has died at the age of 69. The film -- produced and directed by its star, Kevin Costner -- won seven 1990 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Blake received an Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay.
