Frantically searching for this movie

Recommended Posts

TCM aired this movie in July 2004. I only saw a part of it. It is a black and white movie, probably 1943 to 1946 or so. It has a scene where a lady comes into a ballroom with three balconies, and say's, "just a minute, I have to take this picture," and she ascends to the third balcony, and takes a picture of servicemen and ladies dressed for the dance. I think my dad and his buddy are in the picture. My mom and dad met at that ballroom. It was in London. They married in Sept. 1945. It is a real picture that I saw in a filmography book and also a book on famous ballrooms and balconies. In the movie the people are all smiling and the picture seems to be taken with a rolling camera, in that it starts at the right and continues until it gets all the people, as it moves to the left of the balcony. Did anyone see it or know the name of the movie. I thought it might be One More Tomorrow with Ann Sheridan, Jack Carson, Dennis Morgan and Jayne Wyman. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks. Mary
