  THE SPY in the GREEN HAT (1967) was assembled during some of the period that the HORNeT series was originally broadcast.

 After The Dragon entered, a similar revisit to the HORNeT series spawned by the popularity of Bruce Lee and kung-fu fighting was seen:

 If the Preying Mantis seen above does not look like Mako, then it's sparring partner to Lee, Dan Inosanto.

The Big Steal is my favorite movie.  Robert Mitchum, Jane Greer, William Bendix, Ramon Novarro and Patric  Knowles all turn in excellent performances.  Great script, direction and locations.  Of course, Mitchum does his usual great job, especially for a guy just off the county work gang for real.

Farewell My Lovely is the best movie based on the book.  Part of that is that it was filmed in 1975 when Hollywood could do more.  While Mitchum may be older for the role, I think he nailed it.
