Picture is likely unfortunately, so (excuse me while I try to prevent myself from being nauseous) is script. I have heard that DiCaprio is likely in leading actor for the fifth slot, but Javier Bardem might bump him out. (By all means, Javier, go for it!) Still definitely not wild about them. Oh well, films aside, I might use it to look at some Seinfeld episodes or the original 2000-2007 run of Gilmore Girls. May I interest you in 9 seasons of The Great British Baking Show? That’s why I watch Netflix.

No. you know, I don't want to watch the movie, BUT from the clips I watched just so I could gauge how messed up NICOLE KIDMAN'S face was, HE ACTUALLY STRUCK ME AS UNCANNILY GOOD!!!! I saw the film. The structure is sloppy and all messed up (what's with Linda Lavin, Ronny Cox, and John Rubinstein serving as a Greek chorus), but both Kidman and Bardem are exceptional as Lucy (portrayed more as a determined businesswoman than a comedian here) and Desi. 1

GENUINELY, in the scene I watched where he argues with LUCY about her just agreeing to lie and say she checked the wrong box on her voter registration- BARDEM not only was good at the impersonation, he was serving genuine emotion. I was impressed, and beleieve me i went in ready to HATE EVERYTHING. PS- still haven't seen the whole movie though. can't stand AARON SORKIN

For example, from what I know about the story, they’re filming the “Fred and Ethel Fight” episode during the week when the communist scandal occurred. “Fred and Ethel Fight” is a season 1 episode. The communist scandal occurred late season 2/early season 3. They were actually filming the Season 3 episode, “The Girls Go into Business” when Desi famously addressed the audience about the scandal.

He certainly didn't know that Judy Holliday didn't make it out to Hollywood in roles larger than that of an extra until 1949.....

Tikisoo
2 hours ago, speedracer5 said: That’s why I watch Netflix. Ugh. Wouldn't it be WONDERFUL if Netflix got caught in a time wormhole and reverted back to the "lending library" it originally was? Sure, Netflix puts Blockbuster out of business, then STOPS OFFERING the previously huge inventory of rare & classic films! I've been enjoying BBC's series GHOST. Mr Tiki is proud of me, he thinks I have poor commitment skills since I'm not a "series" person. But Ghost fits my personality perfectly since I live in a haunted house & am a restorationist. 1
