casadore2
Now that Leni Reifenstahl has passed away. Is there still going to be a movie made about her life staring Jodie Foster?
johnnyweekes70
I knew heard that Foster would play Riefenstahl. What a fiesty, gifted woman she was! Alongside Robert Wise, I never thought she'd actually pass away until she surprised me by doing so.
bansi4
I just read that Holocaust survivor and famous Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal has died at the age of 96. May he rest in peace. Mongo
casadore2
What has Simons death have to do with Leni or anything to do with movies?
bansi4
I posted Simon Wiesenthal's death here in connection with Leni Reifenstahl's frightening propaganda film "Triumph of the Will", in an era which would eventually lead to the holocaust, in which he endured. Mr. Wiesenthal was also involved in the movies. He was a writer of two films, and advisor on the movie "The Odessa File". He appeared in the documentary "Memorandum" (1965) which won a Venice Film Festival Award. Mongo
casadore2
Thank You for the information. I look at Leni as a film maker of great talent of her time. She is responsible for smaller cameras and the first person to record a sporting event on film.
