A name of a German Silent

does anyone know the name of an early German Silent based on an old Jewish myth about a Rabbi that makes protector out of clay? We were talking about it in class and I have a vague idea of what it is but I can't get the spelling close enough to find it. I believe it starts with a G

I don't every remember seeing it on TCM, but it is available on DVD. It's put out by Kino Video and while I haven't seen that version, if it's like most of Kino's other silents it should be very nice. Most of the on-line DVD stores should stock it. Well worth getting.

TCM has shown Der Golem a couple of times but it's been a while back. I vaguely remember that one month all the Silent Sunday night features were German silents. But like I said, it's been a while so I would suggest trying to rent it through Netflix or some other service.
