mr6666
Director Pete Docter (“Monsters Inc.,” “Up”) and producer Jonas Rivera recently sat down (to an interview) to talk about the response to the film, making movies that work for both parents and kids, and the amazing Pixar process. http://www.rogerebert.com/interviews/making-john-lasseter-cry-pete-docter-and-jonas-rivera-on-inside-out
speedracer5
I'm really looking forward to this film. I've loved all of the Pixar movies so far. Hopefully this one isn't as emotional (which I suppose it IS about emotions, so it probably is) as the previous ones. First the scene in Wall-E where Eva holds hands with Wall-E to keep him from dying, and then Up when Carl's wife Ellie passes away, and then in Toy Story 3 when Andy says goodbye to Woody... ugh Pixar! You're killing me! I couldn't believe that I was tearing up at the end of Toy Story 3. What emotional distress will Inside Out cause me?
mr6666
Cartoon Brew @cartoonbrew 1h1 hour ago Can @TheAcademy members be any stupider—how is "motivating kids" a consideration when judging animated films? -- Nominated Animated Feature Films: Anomalisa Charlie Kaufman, Duke Johnson and Rosa Tran Boy and the World Alê Abreu Inside Out Pete Docter and Jonas Rivera Shaun the Sheep Movie Mark Burton and Richard Starzak When Marnie Was There Hiromasa Yonebayashi and Yoshiaki Nishimura - No surprise 'Inside' nominated, aren't Pixar's always (I enjoyed it too) but wonder if voters really viewed all entries??
