I never heard of Geoff Stephens, but I was certainly aware of a number of the songs he wrote. I have "Catch the Wind" (which he co-produced didn't write) in my iTunes collection.

"Winchester Cathedral"  or "There's a Kind of Hush" are probably the best-known songs he wrote, to those who were around in the 60s.
