Classic aficionado
Is TCM going to pay tribute to Betsy Palmer with a showing of two or three of her films?

JamesJazGuitar
Nothing has been announced. I have been seeing a few Betsy Palmer movies lately; Queen Bee with Joan Crawford (boy is Joan nasty in that one!), and The Tin Star. She has nice roles in both of these films. The Tin Star is a very good western with some deep themes (but it doesn't wear its message on its sleeve), but Queen Bee is hard to take since it is a very over the top drama (but Palmer does do a good job of acting in the film). EdgeCliffe
Palmer was never a major star in Hollywood just a supporting player. It would be a surprise if TCM did a tribute.
GGGGerald
I love her on "I've got a secret" which I watch often. But, her best known role is Jason's mom on Friday the 13th. Do you really want to see a marathon of that on TCM ?
Hibi
Not likely I'm afraid. She wasnt a big enough star or had much of a movie resume.............
EdgeCliffe
If they did one for Palmer, how about Monica Lewis who made several films in Hollywood including EVERYTHING I HAVE IS YOURS, EXCUSE MY DUST and EARTHQUAKE? Lewis died recently at the age of 93. It is also unlikely there will be a tribute to her too.
