Berlin Express--black and white at its best

Berlin Express is one of those movies I watch from time to time, although at a longer interval than others.  The plot isn't much, but it's fun to see the four Representatives of the (then) new world order scamper over the rubble of Berlin in their amateur detectiving--notwithstanding Merle Oberon's unfortunate efforts at a French accent.  But what is really great about the movie is the direction by Jacques Tourneur, and the spectacular cinematography by Lucien Ballard.  I don't know any film he did better.  The focus is so deep, you can fall into it.  Wish I could post stills from it.
