These three titles have made it on to your list erroneously. The '57 version of MY MAN GODFREY is airing on October 20. IMMORTAL BATALLION will air under its British title, THE WAY AHEAD, on October 12. And WHERE THE SPIES ARE airs during the daytime period on October 27.

The David Niven SOTM tribute became much less impressive today with the removal from the schedule of two of his best films -- SEPARATE TABLES (1958) and THE GUNS OF NAVARONE (1961). It seems downright bizarre to have a retrospective of Niven that does not include his one Oscar-winning performance.

Right. It does not bode well for fans of the actor. Fortunately, SEPARATE TABLES is available on AmazonPrime, and I do not have to pay extra to watch it. I also do not have to wait until October, and I do not have to worry about TCM removing it from the schedule.
